Thrift Store Update

We’ve been approved by Decatur’s zoning board to open a retail thrift store in connection with Grace Life Church on 19th Avenue. Our next step is renovating the space to make it ADA compliant for our employees and guests. Our first year goal is to employ eight adults with disabilities in the sorting area and on the sales floor. We will also serve as a work co-op with Decatur High School’s Developmental Program. This will allow their students to pick up some real life job skills in their community. As soon as we’re cleared to do so we will start accepting your gently used items and you’ll receive a donation slip for your taxes and our sincere thanks.
